Program Led by Dr. Laura Mary Linsley

All sessions are taught by Dr. Laura Mary Linsley, PhD, MPH, E-RYT, with 14 years of yoga teaching experience, a PhD in Biomechanics and Anatomy, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health focused on Social and Behavioral Health and Health Behavior Change.

Program Overview

On-site and virtual corporate yoga sessions serving Benicia and the North Bay. Sessions blend intelligent movement, biomechanics-based strength, posture education, breathwork, and stress reduction.

PRIVATE YOGA

Yoga was historically taught by one teacher to one student, there is something different about being guided one-on-one.

Private sessions at The Elevate Company are designed for individuals who want personalized support, thoughtful movement, and a practice built specifically for their body, goals, and life. Whether you are brand new to yoga, returning after injury or pregnancy, navigating stress, or looking to deepen your practice, private instruction offers the space to move with intention and care.

Sessions are led by Laura Mary Linsley, PhD, MPH, E-RYT, whose teaching blends intelligent movement, nervous system awareness, breathwork, mindfulness, and traditional yoga philosophy into an approachable and highly individualized experience.

Rather than following a one-size-fits-all class format, private instruction allows time to focus on what matters most to you. Sessions may include:

  • yoga postures and alignment

  • mobility and functional movement

  • nervous system regulation

  • breathwork and meditation

  • postpartum recovery support

  • strength and stability

  • stress management

  • modifications for injuries or limitations

  • support for developing a sustainable home practice
